Special Event: World War II Anniversary Celebration at Chicago’s Symphony Center

To honor the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II, Maestro Troy Webdell, SSO, Dong Fang Chinese Performing Arts, The Chinese American Association of Greater Chicago, Confucius Institute of Valparaiso University and over 100 other Chicagoland Sponsors present a special concert at Symphony Center featuring Xian Xinghai’s “Yellow River Cantata,” the USA premiere of Roxanna Panufnik’s “Since We Parted,” and other WWII inspired music. This concert is scheduled to be the largest of its kind in the USA with over 450 musicians in the chorus and a 70 piece orchestra.
